iBlast Management Team
iBlast was founded by a proven technology and management team and a visionary group of broadcasters. Our management team brings together a group of talented, accomplished professionals with a depth of experience in both broadcasting and new media technologies.
Michael Lambert - Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO.
Michael oversees the growth and rollout of the nation's largest wireless
digital broadcast distribution network. He owns and operates a broadcast
station group and is the general partner of Partner Stations Network, the
broadcaster-owned programming alliance. Michael was president of domestic
television for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, where he launched
such programs as "A Current Affair," "America's Most Wanted" and "COPS."
He was also part of the team that acquired the Metromedia television
stations and was instrumental in the formation of the Fox Network business
plan and the acquisition of affiliates for the new network. Michael was
previously senior vice president for HBO, senior vice president,
programming for Petry Television and the former head of Viacom's domestic
television unit.
Lee Wilson - Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Business Affairs.
Lee is responsible for structuring,
negotiating and closing all iBlast business transactions. He is also
responsible for all legal matters pertaining to iBlast.
Lee was formerly senior vice president, corporate affairs
and corporate counsel with Digital Entertainment Network.
Prior to that, Lee was a corporate attorney with Katten
Muchin & Zavis, where he represented start-up companies
involved in new media, entertainment and Internet-related
endeavors. He was also a corporate attorney with Skadden,
Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he worked on public
and private debt and equity financings and public and
private merger and acquisition transactions, primarily with
companies in the telecommunications and entertainment
industries.
Michael Jones - Vice President, Corporate Strategy.
Michael is responsible for the financial and operational
foundation of the company. He was previously the vice
president of finance and operations and manager of
strategic planning for Lambert Television and Partner
Stations Network. Michael evaluated new station
acquisitions, provided financial oversight for the
company's existing businesses and spearheaded the initial
exploration of digital broadcasting and data distribution.
Jennifer Shubert - Vice President, Finance & Controller.
Jennifer is responsible for the financial activities at iBlast including
accounting, internal and external reporting, financial planning and
analysis, treasury, tax and audit. Prior to joining iBlast, Jennifer was
the Assistant Controller at an Internet entertainment company where she
prepared all financial information and related disclosures in the S-1
registration statement (IPO filing) and designed complex capitalization
tables and dilution scenarios for use in the negotiation of private
placement financings. Prior to that she was a Supervising Senior
Accountant at KPMG LLP in the Information, Communications and
Entertainment Division. Primary responsibilities on these clients
included preparation of the pro forma financial statements, and
participating in the completion and certification of registration
documents in connection with an initial public offering, secondary
offerings, and other SEC filings. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in
Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, graduating with Honors, and
is a Certified Public Accountant.
Robert Maigret - Vice President, Information Technologies.
Rob is responsible for information systems, infrastructure, and new
technology proof-of-concept. Prior to joining iBlast, Rob was an
independent consultant and partner of Solink Consulting, managing projects
for several Los Angeles area high-tech and tech-entertainment companies,
including iBlast, Dali Media, and Anonymous Content. Rob is the former
director of information technologies at Universal Music Group, where he
led global projects. This included the largest corporate deployment of a
NetWare 5/Win32 intercontinental infrastructure and the systems
integration of Seagram, PolyGram and Universal during their merger. As
regional manager of information technologies at PolyGram Holding, Rob was
responsible for all network and client support operations for the Western
Region.
